The Pen-y-Graig Poem – Little Me –

Inside of me there lays a boy
Undamaged, full of hope
He wants to fly the ocean breeze
Run wild with Antelope

To soar along the craggy cliffs
Dive into oceans blue
Play with friends a million times
Then dance just like a Sioux

He’d like to be an astronaut
Then travel to the moon
Sit in the forest with his knife
To carve a wooden spoon

With eyes that sparkle all day long
His wish from up above
To feel that he’s a real boy
That’s wrapped up full of love

– Karl Tearney –
