Phil Richards

Phil Richards

Forest Bathing

I am Phil Richards from Port Talbot in South Wales. I am a forest bathing guide, as well as a serving merchant marine engineer. Prior to going to sea, I worked as a steel worker.

Throughout my life I have again and again found immense benefit from the power of connection with nature which resulted in an epiphany trekking through Nepal, and I resolved there and then to help share this profound feeling of well being that is accessible to all. I trained as a forest bathing guide to learn about exactly what it is that provides these tangible benefits, and now I hope to deepen my own practice as well to facilitate others to start their own.
