Objectives & Outcomes

Psychogeography is a time and space to step away from the usual stresses and strains by making a connection with a venue in an unusual way and moving around it by yourself if you wish.  The rule is that there are no rules.  We will provide the opportunity for you to experience the benefit of how a site can help you to cope with inner turmoil and suffering.  Suggestions will be made for ways in which you can find your own relationship with a place which enables you to travel through its past, present and future and understand it differently.  You will be able to gain a deeper knowledge about its history and the people who worked there.  You will be able to record your responses in ways that you enjoy, and you may choose to use creative writing, art, music, spoken word, ceramics, photography, woodwork, walking.  Through the work your inner attention will shift to a viewpoint that focuses on the world around you.
